Copayments / Coinsurance

All bills and statements will come directly from Strong Memorial Hospital, not Interlakes Oncology and Hematology.  Your visit is at a hospital-based facility.  For services received at a hospital- based outpatient clinic, patients may receive two charges on their bill — one represents the facility fee, and one represents the physician fee.  Please contact your insurance company with further questions or if you have questions regarding your statement, please call the number indicated on the statement or call Interlakes directly (585.475.8700) and ask for “Billing” and we will investigate on your behalf.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Our Social Workers can assist you in finding and securing patient Assistance Programs that will provide financial aid that might be available to you.  The Physicians and Staff can assist by sending a message to our Social Workers who can contact you to speak with you regarding your concerns.

Will I be charged a fee if I cancel my appointment?

It is not our policy at Interlakes to charge patients for a missed appointment. However, if a patient routinely cancels without notice, calls at short notice to cancel a same day appointment or does not keep appointments, this may necessitate us referring this patient elsewhere for treatment. We always try to respect our patients’ time and we appreciate the respect of our time in return.
